Droolicious Rhodonite Pendant necklace

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

This rhodonite gemstone pendant was drooliciously large and inviting. It measured about 2 inches or more in length - pretty hard to miss AND not want it. Rosemarie couldn't resist.

She did a great job of adding transparent purple triangular glass beads which echoed the roughly triangular shape of the pendant. Also in her eclectic mix were two-tone black and clear crystal beads, painted purple ceramic beads, gorgeously mauve lustre crow beads and metallic beads with Swarovski crystals in them. The restrained use of some black beads tied in with the black flecks in the rhodonite. Often jewelry designs is not about what you used so much as how you use the beads as Rosemarie shows here.
