Silvery Layered Earrings

By on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 4 Comments

Layering components is an easy way to add variety to your designs. Cathy loves earrings and has a certain fondness for metal feathers because she has used them before in previous designs. Cathy likes to say she was probably a Native American princess in another life.

Cathy also made the long pendant style earring dangle far more interesting by adding additional dangles loaded with beads. I really like how she used metallic flowers to visually anchor the front dangle. I am sure she is going to get some wonderful compliments again.

Margo also liked the same silver finding as Cathy but she opted for the minimalist style. She used just dangles of clear seed beads. Simple but effective.

  3. What a great component. They're so elegant looking, no matter what you pair them with. That really leaves a lot of room for imaginative designs!
