Do you have a fabric stash? Want to whittle it down a bit? Then check out these awesome tutorials to make jewelry from fabric. They not only make jewelry possible for people with metal allergies but now jewelry can really coordinate with your wardrobe! Crafty artisans can use some of these tips to embellish other items like purses, bags and hats.

Stiffened Fabric Pendant
If you never thought fabric could make jewelry, then take a look at this gorgeous stiffened fabric pendant tutorial by Craftypod. Choosing the right fabrics would really make your design stand out.
Embroidered and Bead Embellished Necklace
The De-Are blog has a fabric square choker tutorial where you get to be creative with embroidery and beads to make each square unique.
Fabric Strip and Chain Necklace
My favorite DIY fashionista did it again with this simple but clever idea of taking a strip of fabric and weaving it in and out of a large chain. She also has other accessory ideas in the same tutorial based on a leopard print material.
Fabric Covered Wooden Bead Necklace
Froo*gal otherwise known as Kathy Gillespie wrote this cool tutorial on how to wrap fabric scraps around large wooden beads. She was inspired by a Louis Vuitton design which retails for over $800!
Fabric Covered Wooden Bead Necklace 2
The inspiration and result of Julie Pennington's tutorial is the same but the construction is different from the above tutorial in that a long fabric tube is used so there is no need to get wooden beads with holes. Get the instructions and the tutorial link to the Martha Stewart video here.
Hat tip to Blisstree for this and the fabric chain necklace link.
You're not limited to necklaces either. Sew Fantastic has the bracelet tutorial if you need the dimensions of the tube.
Rolled Fabric Ball and Wire Necklace
This funky necklace has no wooden balls inside but is made by rolling a fabric scrap into a ball and secured with wire. The tutorial is by Cat Morley on Cutoutandkeep.
Fabric Chain Necklace
I didn't know you could make chains out of fabric until I came across Funny Face's chunky chain tutorial. She has made it chunky but you could scale it down a tad if you prefer.
Fabric Strips Necklace
The Craftzine.com blog has a tutorial which uses narrow strips of fabric to form the necklace focal. So even remnants from a sewing project can be put to good use! Or you can braid fabric strips and make a triple stranded necklace as Cakies did on her tutorial.
Fabric Scrap Necklace
Mixi over at Craftster posted this delightfully colorful fabric remnant necklace - the more colors the merrier! Hat tip to Thisismysecondlife for this and two tutorial links below (the layered fabric flower necklace and the knotted fabric ball).
Layered Fabric Flower Necklace
Blue Eyed Pinup posted a graduated fabric flower tutorial after she made a couple for a trip because she didn't want something heavy.

Braided Fabric Bracelets
I really like these easy bracelets which you can make following Linda's tutorial on Craftaholics Anonymous. Minimal sewing for soft jewelry to match your outfits and whittle down down your fabric stash or you could recycle some old clothes.
Fabric Covered Bangles
Another easy method is covering a bangle with fabric as you can see from the tutorial by Adventures of Rory and Jess. Hat tip to Craftgossip.
Fabric Butterfly Ring
Craftstylish tipped me off on this super 3-D fabric butterfly ring tutorial by mixed media artist Bridget Benton. She started off with printed butterfly fabric and crafted a little magic with thin batting, wire and some fusible webbing!
Fabric Earrings
Got really small scraps? Then make stud earrings following Jessica's tutorial on the Happytogether blog.
