What does mochimochi mean? Anna explains, " In Japanese, mochimochi is a descriptive word meaning “squishy,” like the traditional sweet made of sticky rice called mochi."
This super creative designer will be showing off her new wearable plush toy jewelry collection at this year's Luv-able + Hug-able show at gallery hanahou which opens on December 9th (till January 14th). Anna said "This year’s show is going to be the biggest ever, with more than 50 plush artists from around the world." The gallery is located in New York on Broadway.
Her patterns are available through her online shop. There are clearly many MochimochiLand fans, some of whom have created the most delightful dioramas. This is for Anna's 2010 Mochimochi Photo Contest which is open for the final round of voting until midnight tonight (December 5). Do check it out.
