Well, some of you were familiar with tagua beads prior to last week's giveaway! Willi mentioned they are very light so that's another plus for these eco sourced beads.

Many thanks to arasevera for these very kind words about my blog and how right you are about knowing where our materials come from :

"Your blog continues to be my most favorite - why you ask? You show us innovative ways to make great pieces of art, you educate us about source materials, entertain us with history, stories and great pictures, and create awareness about important topics such as this! Not only does this post emphasize the importance of knowing where our craft materials originate, but it teaches us about how our choices to use certain materials, such as as tagua nuts, can help save a species - actually 2 - human and elephant! You make learning about different parts of the world and the contributions of other cultures enjoyable! Keep up the awesome posting!

I will indeed.

Now who won the $15 jewelry kit giveaway and the chance to try out a new material? I consulted the numerical oracle, random.org who picked Regina!  Congratulations!
