Do you like to collect jewelry making books? I do as they are a wonderful inspirational source.

One such new book from Sixth and Spring Books is Creative Beaded Jewelry by Israeli designer Sigal Buzaglo. It's not really a technique book if you are beyond the beginner stage but much more of an inspirational type for those who like the simple look.

Beginners  will appreciate many of the ideas from her 40 or so projects. Especially if they wish to move beyond single strand necklaces and bracelets and are also hesitant with color combinations and contrast.  The white and gold necklace on the front cover is a good example of contrast in color as well as in the size and shapes of the beads.

Those just starting out with wire will like a couple of her designs like this beaded wire coiled and leather coiled bracelet entitled Trendy Twisted Bracelet :

Another wire based design using just wrapped dangles is the Leather Cornucopia necklace. I liked her clever use of crimp beads to embellish the leather strands.

The Flower Power necklace was another favorite from the book with quick wire flowers and a really long  look that's so in, right now!
