Well, you know what day is coming up!  February is not only about Valentine's Day but it is also Heart month for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.  So let's pump out - pun intended - some awesome wire wrapped heart jewelry tutorials!

First up is the Bead Hold site which has 2 lovely wire hearts to make (shown above).  Use them for pendants or earrings, depending on how large you make them.  (UPDATE : link no longer works)

The Domestic Diva's wire wrapped heart pendant is a vision in red beads and pearls!

Jenni over at I Spy DIY has a wonderful wire heart bracelet tutorial where the heart is an integral part of the design.

Jane Chew of XQDesigns posted this fun uneven woven heart pendant tutorial over at Instructables.

Fellow Canadian, Cait Amber has a beautiful advanced wire wrapped heart tutorial over on her blog. She called it the Brokent Heart of a Fairy because she used an asymmetrical crystal heart!

A fun and forgiving wire wrapping tutorial is the heart pendant necklace by the London Jewelry School.

Brazilian artisan, Mariana Espindola has a stunning heart focal over on her blog.  It is in Portuguese - use Google Translate to read it but I don't think it is necessary as it is largely a pictorial.  She doesn't mention wire gauges - I would use 20G for the frame and 24 or 26G for the wrapping.  Large bail forming pliers are ideal for making wire hearts!  See third tutorial link below!
