One of the comments I received from readers for last week's tagua beads giveaway was this : "I have visited Ecuador and known the tagua beads, they are really great to see that they look some much alike ivory, thus, no more elephants should be hurt, right? "   One can only hope.  The only truly effective way to stop the slaughter is to remove the demand for elephant ivory.  Educating people about another alternative is one way to do so.

The tagua beads are beautiful to look at and a delight to work with.  So one lucky winner will get some hands on experience with these natural beads made from palm ivory nuts.

I numbered all the eligible entries and let the random number generator over on random.org select the winning entry.   The assigned number belonged to dragonswing!!

Congratulations!
