I rarely come across an artisan who often uses fine silver (99% silver; sterling silver is 92.5%). The almost pure silver tarnishes more slowly than sterling. Polish artisan Anna Mroczek on Etsy couples the use of fine materials with some awesome wire work skills for outstanding designs.
Anna has been making jewelry since 2005. She has recently gotten into metal clay work but it is her wire work which really caught my eye, especially her gorgeous earrings.
Her designs portray a wonderful marriage between intricacy and boldness. She doesn't mix her colors, preferring to highlight only one per design.
Anna says she is a perfectionist. It shows not only in her work but in her photography. Very inspirational!
