Hand Printed Jewelry by Jessica Flinn

Jessica Flinn is a young award winning jewelry designer who hails from Sheffield, UK an industrial city with a long history of steel production.  It was the techniques and materials used which inspired her to come up with her unique hand printed jewelry designs.

Her latest handmade collection of bold and contemporary designs is the Silveramics series.  The look of porcelain on metal is innovative.  The base metal piece is silver plated before it is hand printed.  A protective glossy lacquer coating is then applied.

Gold lovers will appreciate her Precious Lace collection where an extra gold plated layer is added to the process.

Jessica is a graduate of the Sheffield Hallam University where she studied metalwork and jewelry. She said, "I wanted to combine my love of art with learning a practical hands on skill - I loved how the course was a combination of design and the physical making."

It's clear she has found her personal style. The high fashion look of her pieces have resulted in a number of magazine articles including Vogue about her work.  She was also named as one of the top young entrepreneurs in the prestigious national Duke of York's awards. Very inspiring!
