The herringbone or Ndebele stitch is a lovely weave for jewelry.  If you are a fan of this stitch then check out my favorite tutorials! The beautiful undulating herringbone bangle tutorial is by Larissa Gottschald, a reader of this blog,  over on her blog The Heart Beading. What a lovely variation of tubular herringbone!

Larissa also uploaded a video version.

Larissa also has the herringbone ring video tutorial :

The twisted herringbone bracelet  is by a highly talented crafter Donna.  Her blog is called This Year's Dozen because she is always learning something new each month.

She doesn't actually write the full tutorial for the clasp but she briefly described how she made it and linked to a video tutorial in the comments.

I also like the Banners necklace tutorial by Andrea Morici on Beadaholique which showscases the herringbone stitch as an understated bib style necklace.  It really illustrates the offset positions of the beads.

The instructor also has a video tutorial version.  This tutorial is great for beginners - no itty bitty seed beads!

Bee Jang, the prolific Thai beader I have featured before, has a lovely herringbone and ladder stitch bracelet tutorial.  She also does not include the bar and toggle instructions. Please check my blog next week for the bar and toggle tutorials.

Leselee Fumin's beautiful herringbone necklace tutorial over on Beading Daily features a  twisted herringbone ribbon!
