You don't have to be a skilled wood worker to make wooden jewelry nor do you have to do major sawing. One obvious starting point is the humble popsicle stick (see link below). The other are dowels! The simple trick of coloring just the top part of the wooden sections makes the design pop!
As the designer said, you can use masking tape to paint different patterns. The earrings can be as long or as short as you wish. Maybe even cube earrings if you use bigger square dowels. Go on, have fun with this idea!

Oh boy - the possibilities are endless here! However - I've never seen square dowels...where have I been? I've got tons of small round dowelling though....and then I thought about that last wood tutorial you posted with the transfer and thought of combining it with this as well... oh my....creativity blooms!
