I don't know about you but I don't really have the patience to knot an entire macrame bracelet! But I still like the pretty colors and the versatility of various friendship bracelet patterns. So here is a fun tutorial by Daniela over on Curly Made on how to make macrame earrings with any short sections of knotted cords.
Her tutorial does not show the knotting, just how to put together the earrings although she does link out to some tutorials. Or you could find some inspiration in the first link below.
An option is to keep the chain section shorter and leave the fringe for a pretty cool effect!
