I remember buying premade hoop earrings for my beginner classes a long time ago. These could be opened up so beads could be threaded on. However, you can use them for other purposes especially if you are not good at making wire frames yourself. This tutorial from Craft and Fun uses those hoops. If you are good with crochet, you could also come up with different patterns. A great lace like effect, don't you think?

This tutorial also from the same site uses beads in a circle in a delightful manner!  Again, variations can be done to change up the design.

The crochet hearts in this dangle earrings tutorial also from Craft and Fun is what gives the design a color burst.

Here is another crochet earrings tutorial from Tutorialcrochet but without beads.  I particularly love the round element at the top. Makes me think a stud earring finding can be glued behind.

As always with crochet work, I wonder if I should try them with wire instead of crochet thread.
