When I first saw this easy statement beaded crochet design, I thought it was simply a twisted multi-strand seed bead design. But the tutorial by Russian designer Ksenia over on livemaster.ru requires neat but simple crochet. The large seed beads are strung onto thread or thin cord before a very long strand is created. Then it is a matter of quickly gathering that long section into smaller ones.
You do not have to follow the rainbow color pattern. Her post shows many inspirational examples at the end.
The tutorial is in Russian. So either use Google Translate or follow my favorite method. For computer users, use the Chrome browser, right click and select translate to English. For mobile device users, use the Chrome app (free) and agree to the translation when asked.
