I got to say - brick stitch is a splendid one for "drawing" beaded images.  Russian designer Svetlana Sin is very good at coming up with pretty brick stitch patterns.  She comes from the city of Ulan-Ude in Eastern Siberia, north of Mongolia.  Beadwork enthusiasts hail from many far flung parts of the world!

Her shop SinbeadPatterns has many designs. The ones which first caught my eye were her bird series where she really captures the unique shape of each species and its plumage.

Also noteworthy are her feather and floral patterns.  I also love her pictorial brick stitch fringe earrings. But my favorite is her Northern Lights design. Please note that these are patterns, not tutorials- it is assumed you know how to bead weave this stitch.

Her patterns come with a large picture and full color chart with the bead legend (color, name, number, and quantity of beads). Please note the patterns are for personal use but Svetlana says you can sell any finished item if you include full credit to the designer.

Love the look but can't bead?  Check out her lovely finished beadwork shop, sinbead (Sun Bead Craft).
