It's no coincidence I chose Sue's wonderful anatomical heart necklace as the first design. Hearts are always lovely and hers is unique.  Think Mother's Day! All her designs in her Etsy shop, Lulu Bug Jewelry (named after her dog) are absolutely adorable!

Sue's pieces are made with fine silver (99.9%) and sometimes colored with tinted concrete. A highly talented individual, the motifs she uses are all her own artwork.

Sue uses metal clay and inlaid concrete to create her pieces.  I had a hard time choosing which to feature but I have to admit, my favorites came from her woodland collection. Who can resist this whole family of owls? Or this colorful fox?

I'm very fond of owls and this design is just delightful as the owl peeks out of its tree nest!

This wolf pendant is also striking. The etching is done with ferric chloride.  If you'd like to learn how it's done, check out Sue's tutorial on her blog.
