Resin does get a bit scratched with use. I have tested out a couple of different kinds of polishes - see this comparative post : https://www.beadinggem.com/2017/08/review-using-flitz-polish-on-resin.htmlThe Beading Gemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10373750828368944711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7312145685876120575.post-47349881331193339022018-04-09T07:38:03.494-04:002018-04-09T07:38:03.494-04:00I've seen a lot of blogs that talk about polis...I've seen a lot of blogs that talk about polishing the resin to make it clear and glossy. But I have come across some which do. So maybe seal all of them anywhere? We have to glue down the material anyway.
The Beading Gemhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10373750828368944711noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7312145685876120575.post-11333389558888387002016-03-31T14:12:17.859-04:002016-03-31T14:12:17.859-04:00Eeek! In a ventilated place, naturally.

As you can see from my adventures, it is not as easy as most might think. One has to allow for failures at each step. They are definitely a project that would be too hard to seal unless they were maybe dipped in it and left to dry?

You've got my mind off and whirling away about the possibilities once again. I know I don't deal well with failures - but I'm trying!

I have a pendant from Shireen where she dyed the flower turquoise. Oksana of Alamould (resin art open forum on facebook) says (in a lot of her videos) that they can be used without sealing.
