Beautiful Beaded Daylily Brooch Tutorial

By on Sunday, July 24, 2016 2 Comments

Do you like flowers?  Gardening?  And bead as well. Then this gorgeous beaded daylily brooch tutorial is for you!  The designer is Melissa Grakowsky Shippee aka MGS Designs.  The design includes a leaf and the stem so a brooch pin is easily integrated.

I love daylilies as they are not only lovely flowers but hardy and adaptable perennials as well.  A good thing in this colder clime. They grow in zones 1-11, quite a remarkable range.  Did you know there are some 35,000 cultivars?  Below is a picture of a beautiful double bloom variety of daylily I took at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Ontario.

Do you have a favorite flower?
