I usually give them a wide berth because of this. But we can all safely oogle these lovely swan inspired jewelry.  Further down, I shared some gorgeous supplies and beadwork tutorials.

Nature Inspired Silver and Gemstone Jewelry by Amanda Brittin

Amanda Brittin is a talented silversmith whose work caught my eye on BlueSky, the newish social media site. I not only loved her nature inspired designs but her style. She often places her design elements in novel ways. For example, the tree frog necklace below as well as the bird and kyanite and the raven in flight pendants.  Can you spot the octopus one?

Fun Alien and UFO Jewelry and Tutorials | Why People Believe Aliens Built Ancient Monuments

NASA's SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) is actually a scientific research institute which looks for life beyond Earth. So far, scientists have not yet discovered any evidence although they do keep looking using different techniques. If they do, rest assured, it will not be buried news as the conspiracy theorists believe.

Meanwhile, for the rest of us, we just enjoy alien movies, books and even jewelry! I have selected some fun designs covering a range of jewelry making techniques and materials. Some of these are DIY tutorials to make your own UFO and alien designs.

Inuit Inspired Jewelry Designs | Some Inuit Expressions

The Inuit are a group of  indigenous people who live in remote areas stretching all the way from Siberia(Russia), across Alaska (USA), Canada and the western parts of Greenland (Denmark). A few thousand years ago, they were migrants from a group of people in the Bering Strait who gradually populated the high Arctic areas.

Theirs was a harsh life and yet they adapted and learned to thrive in that cold environment.

Gorgeous Stained Glass Inspired Jewelry Designs by AprilHyltonDesigns

Canadian designer, April of AprilHyltonDesigns is truly a creative soul through and through. She is an accomplished and dedicated designer who clearly loves what she does. Her hand stamped jewelry is lovely as is her resin and sea glass collection.

Greek Mythology Inspired Jewelry and Names | The Real Story of Hercules vs The Disney Version

Everyone loves stories and there no more convoluted and fascinating than those the Ancient Greeks told. There was no internet for entertainment back then!  Why they have endured to today are the universally appealing tales of good and evil, love and betrayal and heroic deeds against impossible odds. Also when the powerful Greek gods misbehave and they often misbehaved badly, these stories become particularly riveting. Perhaps it is much like how we like to read about the misdeeds of celebrities and royalty today!

Greek myths have influenced the arts, books and culture over thousands of years. Many movies were inspired by them - like Hercules, Immortals, Troy, Wonder Woman and Clash of the Titans. Shown here are beautiful jewelry inspired by the same myths.

Children's Art Turned into Custom Jewelry and Accessories | The Amazing Art of 12 Year Old Andres Valencia

Creativity is so important in a child's development because it fosters curiosity, imagination and allows them to express themselves in different ways. Their works of art should be cherished. Here are some wonderful custom jewelry designers who can turn children's art into wearable pieces.

One of the best are the design team behind TasarimTakarim which is based in Istanbul, Tukiye. The brand was founded by two artist designer moms, Yasemin Erdin Tavukçu (painter & children art educator) and Özgür Karavit (sculptor & goldsmith). Shown above is one of their delightful examples.

The custom art pieces need not be made into jewelry. Key chains are also a great idea. This engraved keychain showing off a cute homunculus below is by avyandtay - an Arizonan husband and wife team.

Beautiful Photo Lockets by SilkPurseSowsEar

The old (originally 17th century Scottish) proverb "You can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear" meant you cannot make something beautiful from inferior products.

Well, the wonderful Edinburgh based atelier, SilkPurseSowsEar, certainly proves the proverb wrong. They make the most beautiful photo lockets from mostly brass. Brass is a lot cheaper than gold but the colour does resemble that of old gold.
