Take an inspirational theme and any number of designers will create totally different versions of that theme. Mountain landscapes are beautiful and these 8 designers created stunning designs using different techniques. They are phenomenally awe inspiring!

First up is Canadian designer, Karma of craftsandkarma with her gorgeous embroidered mountain lake or stream pendant necklace shown above.

Virginia based Ashley of GatherAndFlow has this stunning sterling silver and gold "Adventure Awaits" mountain scenery necklace. She is a superb metalsmith and has many other designs.

Another talented metalsmith is Megan of 10thFloorTreasures who creates from Ohio. This hand stamped ring design of hers features mountains and trees.

Also by Megan is this beautiful tri-metal mountain and sunrise pendant.

This pair of gorgeously colored mountain landscape earrings is actually laser cut and engraved wood. Kentucky based Sammy of NineMileCreative is the creator.

Pennsylvanian metalsmith Jane of chaddsfordjewelry's mountain sterling silver ring has blue enamel to highlight the mountains. Minimalist beauty!

Polymer clay artist, Christina of GreenasBeans designed these vibrant sunrise mountain landscape earrings. She is based in Ohio. Just incredibly intricate work with strips of polymer clay.

Last but not least is the wood and resin pendant by Turkish designer Evren of WoodenUniverseDesign. The mountains  and mountain lake is beautifully depicted.

YOHO NATIONAL PARK

I used to live very close to the Canadian Rockies for a number of years and was fortunate enough to do many hikes in the stunning area. One of my most favorite National Parks there is Yoho National Park. The pristine mountain lakes and streams, the breathtaking scenery made the park outstanding in an area which already has other beautiful parks.

It was the Lake O'Hara hike we did which cinched this as my favorites of favorites. We took the shuttle in to maximize the time we could spend hiking in that area rather than spend extra time and energy walking it.  Watch this lovely video by Kevin Essa which highlights the top 10 hikes to do there. The Lake O'Hara section starts at 3:05.
