Those who like earrings can be divided into two groups. Those who like them small and dainty and those who like them big and bold. Ten year-old Emilia falls into the second category.

Chandelier earrings have a lot of movement which is why they are fun to wear. They are definitely eye-catching and no one could possibly miss the bright pink oval mother of pearl (MOP) shell bead that Emilia chose for the central portion of her design. The clear rondelles and round matte disc beads that flank the MOP adds a certain touch of class to the overall effect.
I find that this pair of earrings evoke the "Jane Austen" look and perhaps might be best worn with the hair up.
Emilia has a friend who is "crazy" about chandelier earrings so the next post would be about the ancestor of the chandelier earrings.
