Anyone with children or personally isn't into violence as a form of entertainment, will relate to my quest for fun computer games that do not feature killing and maiming. Evidently, there are talented like-minded people out there. Popcap Games produce awesome well-designed games for the whole family - you can play them for FREE online or purchase the games for offline use. The graphics quality is excellent.

One of my favourites is Bejeweled which naturally features gemstones. It is a simple but surprisingly addictive game. Swap gemstones such that three or more align either horizontally or vertically. You get points, the set disappears and more drop down from above. The game is also available from Yahoo - where it was highly rated by thousands of their users.

Definitely a game for beadaholics.
