The serpentine gemstone that Vickie used is a greenish-yellow colour. She matched the serpentine faceted drop from Widget's Beads with serpentine tubes further along the necklace. She also discovered that blue is a colour that compliments green and yellow very well. So both blue and green seed beads were effectively used in her design. Vickie chose not to add yellow seed beads thus allowing the serpentine to shine on their own.

The pendant was suspended via a double-holed metal bead decorated with a glass crystal. The elongated look to this focal point made Vickie's design just that touch more unique.
