Subtle Hues
Part 1 of 3

Jewelry designs are not always about colour. Subtle hues can make elegant jewelry. Take Anne's earrings on niobium ear wires for instance. The window beads she chose have just the slightest suggestion of rose pink. The rest of her bead choices were metallic silver in colour and neutral black.

She added two different types of metallic beads on either side of a "dancing cube" - a cube bead that has been diagonally drilled as well as the window beads. So often people are tempted to add the same type of beads to flank another. You don't have to.

The sterling silver head pins had those little knobs on them. Here is a tip - if I am short of those, I just use regular head pins with small sterling silver balls instead.
