This has just got to be my all time favorite fabric necklace tutorial. Lovemaegan, this fashionista's tutorial shows how she made this outstanding ruffled dupioni silk roses necklace.
I really like how she left the fabric edges raw, lending considerable character to the design. Dupioni silk is also an inspired choice because two colors of silk are woven for a shimmering effect. In her blog post, she also models the creation as a belt and as a headband. I think a wrist corsage will also work.
The design oozes charm and elegance. Just perfect for a summer wedding, don't you think?
