I recently came across an amazingly talented wire worker who loves tribal, Indian and South American jewelry. New Jersey based Sonia Kumar sells her work on Etsy as Catchall Jewelry.
What's also remarkable about Sonia is she is still a high school student. If she is this good now, you can bet she will be fantastic in years to come!
Her strength is in her earrings which are bold and colorful. She admitted in her profile that she started wire wrapping using paper clips before realizing she could buy wire!
Like a true artist, she says her work is still evolving. It's clear she is passionate about what she does and wants to continue with her craft. I wish her all the best for the future.
