Paper clips are sure handy if you don't have any jewelry making supplies or are out and need to make something. The resulting jewelry design need not necessarily be relegated to something a youngster would do.
Kirsten from Studs and Pearls spotted this Anthropologie Acrobatics necklace and loved the idea of vinyl covered jumbo paper clips. The curved ends of the paper clips allow for easy linkage.
Some people may even remember doing something similar back in the 1970's using contact paper, wrapping paper and so forth.
What Kirsten then did was create her own version with silk ribbon but she thought it was more suitable as wall art. So she came up with a simpler tutorial using leather scraps and guest posted it over at the Dollar Store Crafts blog.
