Have you ever wandered down Michaels - a very dangerous place for the wallet - and ogled the scrapbooking supplies? Scrapbooking supplies can indeed be used to make really fun jewelry. Here is example using fabric and felt.
Kay Layton shared her super easy necklace tutorial called Simple Bloom over on Everything Etsy. The scrapbook stickers were used to sandwich pendant findings with bails. One added advantage of using back to back stickers is that the necklace is two sided!
This project is so simple, you could make a number of necklaces very quickly. Great idea for when you have to create several as gifts.
While this tutorial uses pre-made stickers, the same technique could be used for your own handmade projects using fabric, felt or even leather. For example, I've seen some pretty awesome felt owl designs which I think could be made in pendants. Just check out this Pinterest board for inspiration!
