Are you getting ready for the coming fall season of jewelry booth selling? Or simply want to organize your favorite necklaces or bracelets for easy reach each morning? Either way, you might like to see this wire and vase jewelry display tutorial by Kristenmarie over on See It and Create.
She pours in resin to set the wires into place. But rather than use resin which is expensive in this sort of quantity, try pea gravel especially if your vase is opaque. Or as one commenter suggested, white pea gravel or white stones. Or maybe small glass beads.
I would also try bending some of the wires lower down in an arc.
A whole line of these on a craft booth table will look spectacular especially with the right vase styles!

Well now!
ReplyDeleteMy brother makes vases all the time - or what he calls chimneys.....How interesting they would be made into jewellery displays!
Great idea!
Must be very tall vases if he calls them chimneys!
DeleteFun and easy to make! Filling the vase with gravel/pebbles will help if you change your mind some day or want it transferred to a show, etc.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree a temporary fill is always best. Plus resin costs!!
