Suzette Bentley of Elements of Antiquity continues to grow her unique collection of lead and nickel free pewter findings, all made in the US. She is a jewelry designer herself and wanted to offer the same pieces she used in her work with other jewelry makers.
The antiquing process used means these components have a distinctly rustic and organic look. Pewter is a great alternative to sterling silver or silver without the cost. Bonus! No need to patinate the pieces yourself! Her 3 main sources of inspiration are antiques, nature, and people.
She has many designs so hop on over to her store to check out her designs. Some of the newer ones include the zodiac signs:
The hamsa symbols are also available. I have never seen an angel hamsa before!
My favorites were from her nature collection such as the sun and lily charms below :
Also striking are her cross designs such as the ankh (handled cross) on the left.
There is something for music lovers too!
Suzette is also offering a fantastic 30% discount off your orders. Use BEADINGGEM16 (the 16 stands for the year not the discount.)

ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone - I love pewter!! There's something about the feel of it - it's so soft and warm feeling to the touch. When I hold pewter I actually feel myself calming - it has that kind of affect on me. I have two beautiful and very old pewter candlesticks that were my mother's. I'm sure Suzette would love to get a stamping off of the designs on them - they are simply gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNow - Ms. Lady Luck - please? :0)
These are really fun findings!! I'm a blog follower, FB and Twitter also.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pearl.
