I love using bail forming pliers and multi stepped looping pliers because they create even shapes. Round nose pliers are conical so if you are trying to wire more than one item at a time, they won't be of the same shape. One will be smaller than the other.
Having said that, I can only make 2 shapes at the same time - such as ear wires. More than that would be very awkward.
So take a look at Lisa Yang's simple solution over on her blog. Tape 4 wires together with painter's tape is such a super idea! This means you can manipulate 4 wires at once and in the same way. Follow her link to her past post on how to make the heart shape.
