Have you ever tried stamping on metal?  Then you'll know it takes A LOT of practice to get perfect stamped jewelry.  One person who does metal stamped jewelry very well is Toronto based Karen Field, the artisan behind FeelingsofLove on Etsy.  She makes all kinds of personalized jewelry. She  is also the creative soul behind Clayfuffles which celebrates her polymer clay work.

Her personalized designs include stamped names and initials.  Those which feature the birthstone colors of  family members do add lovely touches of color to her silver designs.  But what really caught my eye were her stamped special phrases such as "You are my sunshine", "Failure is not an option", "Cancer free" and "God gave me you" - all of which make wonderful gifts for special ones. She didn't neglect furbabies either!

Karen said she has been creative all her life, starting in her childhood. But she worked in advertising when she grew up.  She explained how making jewelry became her full time job:  "After many years of working, I started experiencing a lot of health issues and to make a very long story short, in the end, I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis! Are you kidding me!! I was shocked to say the least but decided that I was not going to step aside and lay down and let this disease take over. So in 1996 I had to stop working and decided instead of giving in to the MS, I turned my love of jewelry in to my own home based business! That's when my Feelings of Love was born!"  An inspirational story indeed!
