Stephanie Petitplat is a polymer clay artist based in France who specializes in miniature food. She also creates animal sculptures. So watch Stephanie create a polymer clay cat! Most of the colors she uses are actually small bits of different hued clay applied with a toothpick! She does use paint for later details.
There is a very poignant reason why Stephanie made this lovely sculpture. Her beloved cat, Arya, had to be put down after struggling with health problems. So this was her homage to Arya. There are more pictures and details in her blog post, appropriately titled, "Sweet Arya." Sniff.
