Handmade beads, especially those which start out as clay dug out from the Earth, are about as handmade as you can get. And in the hands of an artist, truly one of a kind. Shown here are the beautiful nature inspired ceramic beads made by Wisconsin based artist, Kylie Parry.
Of her design philosphy, she said, "Inspiration is collected on travels- to far-off lands and in my own backyard. My designs reflect me, the places I've gone, and the cherished bits I've collected along the way. I strive to live simply and walk lightly upon this earth." Well said.
Her designs have a lovely earthy appeal. Shown here are my favorites, all of which are beautifully photographed.
