We don't often see earrings which sport briolettes with beadwork rather than wire work. Yet, these side drilled crystals can showcase elegant designs which will remind you of high end gemstone ones. The first beaded side drilled earrings tutorial is by Valeria Schiano Lomoriello.
She uses superduos as well as 11/0 and 15/0 beads. The tutorial is in Italian. However, you should be able to follow this relatively easy design if you do not understand Italian.
This beaded crystal briolette earrings by Sidonia's Handmade Jewelry is also lovely. She uses 3 and 4 mm Swarovski bicones as well as 11/0 and 15/0 seed beads. If you prefer a PDF, she sells it on her Etsy.

The first pair of earrings looks very ancient Egyptian to me.
ReplyDeleteThe second pair looks like the briolette is wearing a crown. I prefer the colours in the second tutorial but that only means changing up the colours in the first and voila!
So easy to customize!
