Orbital Chain Maille and Wire Work Earrings Tutorial

I always encourage everyone to learn new techniques. How else would you know which ones you like?  The other reason for learning new skills is the ability to combine techniques!  Kylie Jone's Orbital Chain Maille earrings tutorial is a great example.

Both the chain maille and wire work are easy enough for beginners. 

Note that you cannot just use any old jump rings. The wire gauge and i.d. is important for each weave!

Sharp-eyed readers might have noticed my ambivalence with the spelling -  chain mail or chain maille.  I prefer the French form, "maille" because it differentiates from chain mail - the kind you dislike to get in your email inbox !!
