The Beading Gem

Anastasia of BeadPatternShop has so many beadwork patterns that it's hard to find one's favourites. I featured her before here. But this time, I want to highlight her just her right angle weave (RAW) design collection. These can be used for either simple fun pendants or as key chain charms. I have linked the individual design listings to make it easier to find in her vast inventory!

She is clearly inspired by other crafts as shown above by her origami crane pattern.  Sweet and simple is her koi carp beaded design below. A couple of my favourites include her popcorn and croissant designs which are more typically done in polymer clay.  Clever!

Once is never enough for excellent beadwork designers like thebeadloomgallery.  While I have featured her work before (linked below), there are still many wonderful designs in her shop. This time, I was charmed by her many tubular peyote beaded patterns. So pretty! Definitely a must see if you are not fond of bead crochet tubes. 

This designer's versatility is admirable because she also offers peyote cuff patterns for delicas as well as the quick to do 2-thread versions. She calls the latter lazy peyote!

Glass artists, like many designers, often take inspiration from nature especially flowers. But who wouod have thought you could have them as potted plants? The awesome creations by Auroraglassgarden include popular plants like succulents, tiny flowering plants as well as flowers in vases.

The artisan is also very good at creating miniature hedgehogs and other cute figurines. Worth the wander through the collections!

Isn't the chain maille halter top stunning? There was a heck of a lot of work and time which went into it. Designed by Sarah of StreetMaille, it was one of this chain maille artist's modern and wearable designs which caught my eye.

Another great design is her chain maille corset style belt below. Also notable is her stretchy choker style necklace with many colour options.

Amanda Brittin is a talented silversmith whose work caught my eye on BlueSky, the newish social media site. I not only loved her nature inspired designs but her style. She often places her design elements in novel ways. For example, the tree frog necklace below as well as the bird and kyanite and the raven in flight pendants.  Can you spot the octopus one?
