This class is for beginners to learn the basic 8-cord braiding technique on a round kumihimo disc. Students will be taught on how to set up the disc as well as finish the ends.

  • wire wrap using the pinch and twist technique
  • create a bail 
  • scroll wire 
  • tighten wire by adding kinks to it

Once you learn this skill, you can wire wrap all sorts of irregular nuggets, not just sea glass.


WIRE CROCHET BRACELET TUTORIAL


This is a beginner class  where you do not have to know how to crochet at all!  You will learn how to :
  • wire crochet with an assortment of beads
  • use common jewelry making tools
  • learn basic wire and metal work techniques including how to work harden wire
  • make a simple hand made clasp from wire
Once you learn this skill, you can customize with different colored wire and beads. This is a great project for leftover beads.

HOW TO MAKE 3 EAR WIRE STYLES CLASS




This is a beginner class where you will learn how to :
  • use common jewelry making tools
  • learn basic wire and metal work techniques including how to work harden wire
  • form 3 different shapes of ear wires
  • make simple dangles from wire as well as from head pins
Once you learn this skill, you can customize your own earrings including how to make multi-tiered styles.



CHARM BRACELET AND HANDMADE EARRINGS CLASS




This is a beginner class where you will learn how to :
  • use common jewelry making tools
  • correctly open and close jump rings
  • make a chain using jump rings
  • add a clasp, charms and wire wrapped bead dangles using headpins
  • make simple wire wrapped bead dangles earrings (optional : make your own ear wires)
Once you learn this skill, you can customize any bracelet with as many, or as few charms as you like.

I will also demonstrate how to make your own jump rings.



FUNKY RESIN PENDANT WIRE WRAPPING CLASS




You will have a selection of different colors and shapes of large resin top drilled beads. These have the look of sea glass!

This is a beginner wire wrapping class where you will learn how to :
  • use common jewelry making tools
  • wire wrap a large top drilled pendant
  • scroll wire
  • tighten wire by adding kinks to it
  • add cord ends and make a cord necklace
  • add an extension chain (using jump rings)
  • add a charm to end of the extension chain
Once you learn this skill, you will be able to use any large top drilled beads to add your own funky wire work!

Once you learn this skill, you can use any kind of beads to create a unique tree of life pendant of your own as well as vary the wiring style.

COILED WIRE BRACELET CLASS




This is a beginner class where you will learn how to :
  • use common jewelry making tools
  • use a simple knitting needle to coil wire
  • make and wire harden a bracelet wire frame
  • assemble the bracelet
  • add a charm (optional)
There will also be a demonstration of different kinds of jewelry wire coiling toils 
Once you have learned this skill, you can put together different lengths of wire coils to individualize future bracelets.
