One of Deidry's talents is the ability to pair up great colour combinations easily. She didn't need a colour wheel to put a coppery round beads, copper rondelles and a beautiful salmon pink drop beads together for an elegant pair of earrings to go with a matching necklace.This drop design has broad appeal as it is a timeless classic. I think it will look particularly refined and sophisticated with an updo hairstyle.
Drop earrings have been popular for centuries. I featured two drop earrings, albeit very expensive emerald and diamond ones belonging to famous people, in a past post. Although similar, they were designed about two centuries apart.
