Part 3 of 3
Many jewelry artisans do weave groups of wire together often with heavier wire. But even the most dextrous would find it very difficult to cope with several wires simultaneously since we aren't equipped with extra arms like octopi. I recently came across this tutorial video by Cindy Moore of Wholelottawhimsy.com where she demonstrates how she weaves no less than 16 lengths of wire using a jig she invented!
As you can see, the resulting pieces are really lovely - note her ring too. Cindy uses precious metal clay to finish off the jewelry. If you are lucky enough to live near Tuscon, Arizona you can take her classes. Also check her website for all sorts of supplies including her braiding jig and wire weaving kit and video tutorials for sale.
Alternatively, you can check out Linda Chandler's book, Woven Wire Jewelry: Contemporary Designs and Creative Techniques For more tutorials check out my Jewelry Making Tips

There are so many talented people out there! Very cool stuff!
wow that is So cool! :):) Thanks for sharing =^.^=
The pattern of the woven wire is exceptionally pretty. Cindy Moore makes it look easy and yes, the basic steps are simple but weaving in wire I'm sure takes practice, a lot of practice. Also noticed that Cindy explained the fundamental part of the wire weaving but didn't elaborate upon how to terminate the ends...perhaps she has a second instructional video on that or I suppose one can enroll in one of her classes.
I really like this! I was wondering if such a thing existed. This is the first time I have come across this type of wire weaving and I will surely give it a try.
