Stiletto Shoe Pendant Necklace and Stiletto Jewelry Stand

Stiletto Jewelry Pointers
Part 2 of 2

Well, there is the kind stiletto jewelry we know. Then there is jewelry where the pendant is really a stiletto! Who knew you could wear your shoe around your neck?

This necklace is the creation of fashion designers, Azumi and David for the Victoria and Albert Museum, London's Cherry on the Cake: Jewelry collection. The collection "celebrates the link between the Museum's collections and the contemporary designs they continue to inspire, with a series of contemporary designers each being commissioned to produce a Cherry on the Cake." It is available from the museum's shop for £120.00 (US$165). It's also available in black patent leather in case red is so not you.

Whilst we are still on the subject of stilettos, I would like to point you to an unusual jewelry stand in the shape of the vampy shoe. The upholstered stand measures approximately 21 inches long from heel to toe, 14.5 inches tall, and 7 inches wide. The little round cylinders are removable. It is available from Magic Fire.com for $89.

Not sure about wearing part of a shoe around my neck but it might come in handy if you broke your heel.

What fun! Not for my neck maybe, but for somebody I'm sure. And great segue into the bit about the jewelry shoe! Very slick! :)
