Chain Inspirations Part 1 of 2
I recently stumbled upon the Love Maegan blog and loved this beautiful Los Angeles based fashionista's unique approach to style. She has come up with the most original and easiest  DIY jewelry ideas I have ever seen. I had already featured her before in the post on jewelry made from recycled t-shirts.

Recently she wowed me with her chain and tassel jewelry. The inspiration came from a tassel necklace designed by Blugirl featured in a copy of Vogue Accessory Italy Spring/Summer 2009 magazine she had.

As you can see, the chain is long and is looped round the neck a couple of times with the tassels hanging at the ends. She made them with both silver and gold tone chains. You can view her tutorial and more pictures here. It's a versatile design for many types of outfits. The best thing is there is no catch to have to fumble with!

Naturally she added chain tassel earrings to match! Her earring tutorial shows you how she varies the chain lengths surrounding the tassels. 10 out of 10!
