Creativity is defined as the ability to make something new and original. In my mind, the best test of that kind of resourcefulness is the ability to create something lovely from the most unlikely of materials - trash. Yes, actual garbage that turns up at the recycling depot.

The designer here is Lithuanian design student Indregru (project tutor : Dr Migle Kibildiene) who rose to the challenge of making highly wearable jewelry from all sorts of trash. For example, the necklace and earring set on the right looks like several colorful tubing sections were put into good use.

What is also delightful is the unusual photo shoot of the completed designs featuring the very women who work at the recycling depot! This is one project that should be graded an A+!
