Beaded 3D Crystal Animal Tutorials by All Cool Crafts / The Beading Gem

It's that time of year again where you might be scratching your head for ideas on what to make as gifts. If you have anyone on your list who likes cute 3D crystal animal charms, then meet Emy Stewart. She has several free video tutorials on Youtube and on her website All Cool Crafts (not yet available). She shows you how to weave together bicones to make familiar characters such as Hello Kitty and Pooh Bear to adorn backpacks, key chains and electronic gadgets.

Her Hello Kitty tutorial on Youtube is a definite favorite as so many people adore this character.

Emy is Thai born but now lives in the US. She has always been an animal lover. About 2 years ago she fell for some bead woven crystal animals. She had no previous experience in jewelry making but she soon taught herself to make them. Emy loves to teach so she recently launched her website offering several free tutorials (not yet available). You don't have to be a member to get some of the free tutorials but standard membership gets you even more. She also sells kits and DVDs.

Her crystal Schnauzer dog tutorial doesn't look too difficult and the dogs turn out great!

She also has a Pooh Bear charm tutorial but if you use just brown crystals, you could make teddy bears.
