Cross Jewelry Inspirations

By on Saturday, April 03, 2010 3 Comments

As it is the Easter weekend, some of you may have already tackled some cross designs ahead of time. If you haven't considered trying yet, perhaps you'd like to check out my past post on cross pendant tutorials. They range from wire work, chain maille, tatted and bead work. But you are by no means limited to those techniques nor do you have to conform to the classic representation of the cross.

Shown above is my Clear Cross Glass Tile pendant design from the Life Collection (100% of net proceeds to cancer research).   A very different looking and funky cross is the combination twisted wire and scrolled cross also from the Life Collection.

For those who just discovered this blog, I also recently posted an article about andalusite/chiastolite gemstone which was illustrated by this Life collection cross stone coiled wire design.

The purpose of this post was not only to illustrate how differently 3 cross pendants can look but also to wish those of you who mark the occasion, a Happy Easter.

  2. Well, I am officially hooked on your blog and will visit and purchase from your Etsy shop! I am not selling jewelry right now, but I did make a piece out of recycled jewelry that features a cross. I also wrote a bit about the creative process. Enjoy!
