Dream Agate, Turquoise and Mother of Pearl Necklace

By on Saturday, October 16, 2010 1 Comments

Making your own jewelry is the only way you can get exactly what you want and in the combination you like. Just ask Sue who attended a beading party not too long ago. She was able to put together three different gemstones - deep reddish brown dream agate flat ovals, turquoise chips and small brown mother of pearl shell discs.

It's a wonderful mix of colors, shapes and sizes. As you can see, Sue chose a bar and toggle clasp. The dream agate ovals are on the heavy side so the beading wire was doubled. Sue decided not to add more beads to the back.

You're AWESOME! Thanks for the comment and feedback. You do make a difference on my blog!

  1. I love anything with turquoise. The agate really sets off the blue.
