How to Make Bead Woven Necklace Tutorials

When I first started beading years ago, I used to haunt the About.com's jewelry site for simple free beading tutorials. Another place is the All Info about Jewelry Making site. Both are good starting places for newbies.  There are also tons of books and magazines you can either borrow from your local lending library or buy. But thanks to some talented artisans on the internet, there are more tutorials to discover. Here are a few of the latest ones.

I've seen tons of design variations but the daisy chain tutorial by Mortira on the Inspirational Beading blog is one of the lovelier ones. It's a simple stitch, but what you do with it is what counts! She teamed the daisies with larger flat oval beads with surrounding bead strands.

Mortira is also responsible for this beautiful tutorial on the double St. Petersburg chain. (Update - link corrected).

Carole Rodgers wrote this button clasp necklace tutorial on the Beadalon site. It is pretty clever because the clasp IS the focal.

This Scattered Flowers Necklace tutorial by Beads Unlimited on Cut Out and Keep is easy for beginners!

Azareal on Squidoo says her netted necklace tutorial  is often used in Russian and Ukrainian bead work designs. It is an easy stitch for beginners.
