How to Make Jewelry from Paper Bags and Newspaper and Tissue Boxes!

By on Friday, August 10, 2012 2 Comments

Paper is something that we often take for granted. We are surrounded by tons of the stuff in our daily lives.  Three of the most common which we throw out in great quantities are paper bags, newspapers and tissue boxes.   Come to think of it, cereal boxes are also way up there.

So here are a couple of  recycled jewelry tutorials to inspire you to use them up. The funky earrings are above are made from paper bags and newspaper. The designer, Tiffany Windsor stamped over the newspaper so well that no one can really tell what the source material is! The earrings are glazed to protect them.

Dimensional sealer is the secret behind Candace Jedrowicz's tissue box pendant tutorial. She really took advantage of the pretty patterns often found in tissue boxes.

  1. Love the earrings they are really cool. I really like the design on Tiffany's earrings. I never would of guessed that they were made from newspaper.

And Candace's Dimensional sealer turned that tissue box into an awesome pendant.

I have just in the last couple days discovered the Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. It is so cool.

    Thanks for sharing Pearl.

  2. Love the earrings, they're super cute. At first I thought they were cut from metal sheets.
