How to Make a Pretty Name Tag Necklace Tutorial

By on Friday, March 08, 2013 3 Comments

Conferences are in full swing in the winter/spring season.  This leads to this question. Why do name tags have to be so ugly?  You know the type I mean - plastic envelope with either a safety pin behind it or hung with string.  Well, beaders can do so much better!

One beader who did  is Michele over at MichinLA.  She used common findings and alligator clips for her name tag necklace tutorial. Her instructions are mainly for the clip pendant but you could always hang it on a fully beaded necklace if your heart so desires!

This necklace style will be just the thing if you buddy up at craft shows.  All of you sporting pretty name tag necklaces will showcase your jewelry making skills at the same time!

Also consider using some types of eye glass necklace findings for double holed tags. Check the first link below for ideas.
